The Challenge

Kopparberg wants to remain the modern and inspiring drink of choice during the summer months and is calling on you to think of exciting ways of accomplishing this. We would like you to develop a strong and compelling idea and to create at least three application that brings that idea to life.

The Solution

My solution was to run a summer long campaign called #thesweeterwayto. It will engage with the public through a social media competition, limited edition bottle and a range of pop-ups. The campaign reminds consumers that Kopparberg is the sweeter way to relax, unwind, explore and most importantly, the sweeter way to enjoy summer.

Instagram Competition

The public (18+) can enter a summer Instagram competition in order to have the chance of winning a personalised Kopparberg bottle with their photo on. After entering, Kopparberg will pick their favourite five each week with one chosen as the winner. By the middle of summer the limited edition bottles will be sent to the winners and released to the public.

Summer Edition Bottle

Below is the summer edition bottle that would be sent to one of the five winners each week and would also be available for the public to buy. The bottle is decorated with some of ‘the sweeter way to’ stickers, the winners photo and Instagram handle.

Summer Expansion

To expand its reach over summer Kopparberg can use ‘the sweeter way to’ language to form an array of pop-ups, events and sponsorships all across the UK.

Sticker Freebie

‘The sweeter way to’ language could be made into actual stickers that can be placed about to gain awareness for the campaign. Stickers could also be given out as a freebie when customers buy products from ‘The sweeter way to’ events and pop-ups.
